GABO is a collaborative project by a scientist husband and sculptor wife duo. We are passionate about creating functional handmade objects that possess spirit and beauty. Our aesthetic language is simultaneously quirky, and reaching back to the most ancient sculptural forms. Paper Mache is a sustainable, sturdy but very lightweight material with a beautiful texture. When our daughter began walking and was able to reach the ceramic and glass decor that we had around our home, we discovered the beauty of paper mache, which both looks stunning in the home, and is not a hazard when pulled down from the table by a toddler. We believe in living with objects that have a life and character of their own, and are pleased to share our vision with you, and enrich the atmosphere of your home or business.
